Whalerock Industries

Whalerock Industries is a Los Angeles–based agency working with major brands across entertainment, retail, fashion, and consumer goods. As Director of Social and Content Strategy, I led end-to-end social strategy for a portfolio of clients spanning live entertainment, luxury retail, plant-based food, talent representation, and consumer tech. The role required range — every client had a different audience, voice, and business problem. My job was to translate research, cultural insight, and platform behavior into tailored strategies that drove brand visibility, user acquisition, and community growth across very different categories.
What I Built

Tailored social and content strategies for clients including Saks Fifth Avenue, William Morris Endeavor, SiriusXM, Lightlife, Airtime, and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. Brand audits, competitive assessments, and audience research to identify white space and unlock growth opportunities. Creative direction for designers and video teams to produce high-quality, platform-native content across paid and organic channels. Tested ideas across verticals — what worked for a luxury retailer informed how we engaged country music fans, and vice versa.
